Account Manager

VaynerMedia is on the lookout for Account Manager candidates who are ready for the challenge of leading a team, able to immerse themselves feet first into the world of a brand, and interested in contributing to the development of a growing company.

The task at hand:

• As an Account Manager at VaynerMedia, you are the account lead for your clients and the champion and protector of both your clients and your team. As the team leader, you are responsible for putting VaynerMedia, your team, and yourself in the best position to succeed.
• You lead the creation of programs, strategies, and campaigns from initial ideation through final delivery.
• The client will have you on speed dial, and expect you to be able to provide counsel, programming ideas, or solutions to whatever challenges may arise.
• Quickly and proactively assess short and long term client needs then translate them into actionable tasks and plans for our internal teams.

The ideal candidate has:

• A Bachelor’s degree and 5-8 years of experience working within the digital space (agency, in-house, emerging tech, etc.) focusing on digital campaign development and strategy
• Outstanding communication skills that revolve around transparency, efficiency and respect
• A respect and understanding of online communities, content that resonates well in the social space, and platform/technology changes that will impact both
• Experience running a large, fast-paced, and multi-dimensional team
• An interest in mentoring and teaching, by example and through management, to create future leaders
• A sparkling personality that will mesh well with the existing VaynerMedia family (we love smart people with a dash of quirkiness and humor)
• An insatiable curiosity and knowledge about all things social, web, and mobile
• The ability to write concisely and with a strong voice, without typo or delay
